What to know
The shop in Star
Damon Bork opened Bork Roofing in 2004 and still runs it from the shop on N Hornback Ave. He has led the company since day one and built it as an Idaho roofing company with one standard: do the job like your own name is on the truck, since it is.
From Star, crews run Treasure Valley roofing jobs across Ada County and Canyon County. You will see our trucks and roofers in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle, Caldwell, Kuna and the smaller towns between them, most weeks of the year.
Detail
What GAF Master Elite means for you
GAF Master Elite is the top rating GAF gives its roofing contractors, and few companies hold it. For you it means two plain things. The install follows GAF’s own playbook, and Bork can offer the strongest GAF manufacturer warranty tiers, up to Golden Pledge coverage. The roof warranty page lays out the coverage in one table, with the labor side next to the product side.

Good to know
How a job runs at Bork Roofing
Every job follows the same path. It starts with a free roof inspection: measurements, an attic check, and photos of anything that needs work. Then comes a written quote with each item priced on its own line, so you can set it next to any other bid without guessing what got left out. Once you sign, the office orders material, pulls the permit and sets the start date.
Most replacements take one to three days once material arrives. Crews work to the fall protection rules OSHA publishes on every roof, with roof anchors, tie-offs and clear ground zones. The job ends with a full cleanup, a magnet sweep for nails across the lawn and driveway, and a walkthrough. The paperwork for your manufacturer warranty follows after that, filed and copied for your records.
On the roof
One shop, not a franchise
Bork Roofing is not a national brand renting a local phone number. It is one shop in Star with an owner who signs the trucks and answers for the work. Searches for a roofing company Star Idaho locals recommend tend to land here first; the same crews cover the rest of the valley week in and week out.
Small has its uses. The person who quotes your roof and the person who stands behind it work out of the same building. Questions get answered by someone who has seen your job file, not by a call center reading a script from another state.
