How much does a new roof cost?

Should I repair or replace my roof?
A younger roof with one problem area often points to a roof repair. Widespread granule loss, curling shingles or repeat leaks point to replacement, and the full repair or replace comparison walks through the call. The warning signs are worth knowing before it gets that far. Inspection photos settle the question, and the quote prices the path that fits your roof, not the path that pays the salesman most.
Can I finance a new roof?
Yes. Roof financing spreads the cost into monthly payments through a lender. Ask the office what is available and get the terms in writing. Card, cash and check work too. Storm damage may shift part of the cost to your insurance carrier instead, minus your deductible, once the claim gets approved.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. A free roof inspection includes measurements, attic and decking checks, photos and a written line-item quote. No fee, no obligation, no pressure calls after. You keep the report either way, and the quote holds each price in writing so you can compare it against other bids.

What is a tear off roof?
A tear off strips every old shingle and underlayment layer down to bare roof decking before the new roof goes on. It costs more than a layover and shows the crew every soft spot before shingles cover it. Roof replacement at Bork starts with a full tear off for that reason.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes take one to three days once material arrives. Day one covers tear off and decking checks. Underlayment, flashing and shingles follow. A steep roof pitch, extra layers and weather add time. The crew sets a start date up front and keeps you posted if anything moves.
Do I need a permit to replace my roof?
Most Treasure Valley cities ask for a roofing permit on a full replacement, and fees differ by city. Your roofer should pull the permit and list its cost as its own line item. Bork handles the permit as part of the job, so nothing lands on your to-do list.
What warranty comes with the work?

What if my roof leaks before the crew arrives?

Should I stay home during the work?

What is TPO roofing?
TPO is a single ply membrane for flat and low slope roofs, common on shops and small commercial buildings. It reflects summer heat and installs with welded seams. TPO flat roofing covers options and repairs, and commercial roofing covers bigger buildings and flat roof systems.
How do I pick a shingle color?

What should I do right after storm damage?

Does insurance pay for a new roof?
